About Artist
Welcome! I am Brendan Dalziel, a Canadian photographer based in Nova Scotia, with a deep passion for capturing the beauty of the world around us. My photography journey has been shaped by over a decade of traveling as a Broadcast Manager on international cruise ships, where I documented landscapes, seascapes, and cultures across the globe.
My work is especially inspired by the natural beauty of Nova Scotia, where I call home. One of my featured collections, the Peggy’s Cove series, showcases this iconic maritime landmark in a variety of lights and perspectives. These images highlight the serene and rugged character of one of Canada’s most photographed locations.
A cornerstone of my photography is the Sea Glass Collection, captured at Black Bay Beach, a secret spot in Bermuda known to only a few. This hidden beach is a treasure of vibrant sea glass shaped by the ocean over decades. Each piece tells a story of transformation. Once discarded and forgotten, it has been polished and refined by nature. My photography reflects this journey, focusing on the intricate details, rich colours, and gentle light that make sea glass so captivating.
Through my print partner Pictorem, I offer acrylic prints that really make these colours pop, bringing the vibrancy and texture of each sea glass piece to life. The glossy, high definition finish of acrylic printing enhances the natural beauty of the sea glass, creating a statement piece for your home. Whether you want a touch of coastal calm or a bold splash of colour, these acrylic prints are a striking way to showcase the unique character of sea glass.
All prints are produced in partnership with Pictorem, ensuring museum quality artwork that brings these stories to life in your home. Whether you are drawn to the hidden treasures of Black Bay Beach or the iconic vistas of Peggy’s Cove, my collections offer a visual escape into the coastal world I love.
